Hilton Worldwide has opened a new Doubletree property in London after entering into a franchise agreement with Jurys Inn.
Jurys Inn Chelsea has rebranded and will now operate as Doubletree by Hilton London - Chelsea, Doubletree's ninth hotel in the capital.
The property, which is located a two-minute walk from Imperial Wharf underground station, will continue to be owned and run by Jurys Inn.
The 172-room hotel has undergone a major refurbishment programme over the past six months.
It now features new bedrooms and bathrooms complete with Doubletree amenities, free wifi and a restaurant.
John Brennan, CEO of Jurys Inn, said: "This new franchise venture will see our Chelsea hotel leverage its prime London location under the Doubletree by Hilton brand, optimising future revenues and delivering exceptional service to our guests."
Earlier this year, Hilton Worldwide opened a Doubletree hotel in Edinburgh, its first in the city and fourth Scotland (see news, March 18).
