Emirates to add fifth daily flight to Singapore

Emirates will launch a fifth daily flight between Dubai and Singapore from August 1.

The move will being the Gulf carrier's total number of services between the two cities to 35 weekly - 28 non-stop flights and seven via Colombo.

Emirates will deploy a 364-seat B777-300 on the additional non-stop service. The aircraft will have 12 seats in first class, 42 in business and 310 in economy. To view a seatplan, click here.

Flight EK352 will depart Dubai at 2115 and arrive in Singapore at 0900 local time the next day. Return service EK353 will take-off from Singapore at 1035 and land in Dubai at 1345 local time.

Barry Brown, Emirates' divisional senior vice president, commercial operations east, said: "The introduction of our fifth daily service between Dubai and Singapore is a reflection of the growing passenger demand for flights between these two important global business, trade and tourism hubs.

"The increased frequency will give our customers greater flexibility in their travel plans allowing them to connect seamlessly to other flights on Emirates’ extensive global network."

Last week, it was announced that Emirates will fly the A380 to Mumbai from July (see news, May 9).
