Philippine Airlines has upgraded its business cabins on Airbus aircraft used mainly on Asian and Australian routes from Manila.
Airbus A330-300s employed on selected flights to Japan, Korea, Australia and Hawaii are being fitted with new lie-flat seats with a 58-inch pitch. The Equinox 3D business seat includes in-seat power, USB port and reading light.
In a cost and weight-saving move, the in-flight entertainment system is offered via iPad Minis, with wifi provided by OnAir.
The new aircraft also have economy and premium economy cabins that are both in a 2-4-2 layout.
