Delta introduces new sleep kit

28 Apr 2014 by Clement Huang

Delta Airlines has introduced new sleep kits for economy passengers on trans-Pacific routes connecting Japan, China, Korea, Australia and the US.

Starting this month, sleep kits are offered to each customer and include eyeshades and earplugs.

In addition, all economy class passengers will be offered a full-size bottle of mineral water after meals. The bottle service has already been implemented on routes over 12 hours, and will be extended to all long-haul Asia Pacific routes by the summer.

“Adding new items in Economy on international flights improves the quality of the product and helps our customers arrive at their destination rested, entertained and refreshed,” said Joanne Smith, Delta’s senior vice president – in-flight service.
