Virgin and Delta expand codeshare to Mexico

24 Apr 2014 by GrahamSmith

Virgin Atlantic and Delta Air Lines have extended their codeshare agreement to include six routes between the US and Mexico.

The move sees the British airline place its code on Delta routes between Atlanta and Cancun, Guadalajara, Mexico City and Monterrey; between Detroit and Mexico City; and between New York JFK and Mexico City.

It came into effect on April 9 and was reported by airlineroute.net.

Earlier this month, Delta relocated some of its key services to London Heathrow's Terminal 3, joining its transatlantic partner Virgin Atlantic there (see news, April 2).
