Dusit Fudu Hotels and Resorts has announced the signing of a management agreement that will see Changzhou Fudu Qingfeng Garden Hotel rebranded as Dusit Thani Fudu Qinfeng Hotel next month, making it the second property by the Thai hospitality group in Changzhou, a prefecture-level city in the Chinese province of Jiangsu.
Last year, the group opened dusitD2 Fudu Binhu in the city – also with the same partner, Changzhou Fudu Hotel investment Management Company. Both parties will also collaborate for an upcoming third property in Changzhou, dusitD2 Fudu Hongmei Hotel. dusitD2 is the group's lifestyle brand which features "chic design, forward-thinking technology, convenience, comfort and smart service".
Located approximately 40-minutes from Shanghai via high-speed train, Changzhou is home to 13 industrial parks that are mainly focused in machinery and equipment manufacturing, fine chemicals and new energy.
The hotel is set within the 45 hectares Qingfeng Park, which opened in 2008 and is now the largest free-admission park in Changzhou. It is a 15 minutes' drive from the city centre, 20 minutes from the high-speed train station, and 30 minutes from Changzhou Benniu Airport.
Dusit Thani Fudu Qinfeng Hotel, Changzhou features an oriental design, and is decorated with a large number of Chinese art pieces. It will offers 88 guestrooms and suites, as well as several dining outlets including Tian Xiang Lou Chinese restaurant, Coffee Garden all-day dining restaurant, lobby lounge and Centro bar.
Recreational facilities include an indoor swimming pool, gymnasium, and an audio and visual room. In addition, the hotel will feature four pillar-less banquet halls and four separate meeting rooms. Guests can also makes use of the extensive outdoor space in Qingfeng Park for social events, as well as wedding receptions and teambuilding activities.
