PROS We love that it's all free
CONS Because it's free, people tend to dart in and out of the cinema, and chat over the movie like they were watching it on Netflix at home, so it's hard to focus.

WHERE? Level 6 in Terminal 2, in the non-restricted area before immigration
TICKET PRICE It varies based on the film type and duration. The cinema offers short “Edutainment” films in IMAX at HK$38 per ticket, while new releases start at HK$60 for 2D screenings, and HK$130 for IMAX 3D movies.

CAPACITY Up to 350 audiences
CONTENT Along with the short Edutainment films, the cinema also screen the latest IMAX 3D blockbusters such as Gravity and more recently, Captain America: The Winter Soldier.
PROS State-of-the-art movie experience
CONS For many flights, T2 means quite a long walk to the gate after you have finished the movie.

CONTENT The theatre plays a series of 10-minute mini movies in 3D, which will be enhanced by vibrations, wind, spray and snowflakes. Mini-movie categories include “City Roller Coaster” and “Snow Adventure” as well as “Star Wars”.
PROS We love the distraction, as the Pudong airport frankly offers not much else to do.
CONS At 10 minutes a pop, it will be at least five movies and a high risk of motion sickness before enough time is killed.

CONTENT Along with the latest films, the theatre has also been built as a means to help foreigners expand their awareness of the "Korean wave”. The facility screens cultural content that also feature the very best of K-Pop and Korean dramas.

CONS We tried to see if we could book a ticket online but website is in Korean...
