Hilton Zhengzhou opens its doors

Hilton Hotels & Resorts has opened a new property in the Chinese city of Zhengzhou – the group’s first hotel in the Henan Province.

As the provincial capital, Zhengzhou is well placed as the economic, technological and educational centre of the region, and is linked to Beijing and Xi’an (for more about this emerging city, click here) by high-speed rail service.

Hilton Zhengzhou is located on Jinshui Road, in the city’s central business district. It is surrounded by numerous government offices, culture centres such as the Henan Art Centre and Zhengzhou International Convention Centre. The hotel is a 40 minutes’ drive from Zhengzhou International Airport, which is served by a number of prominent local and international carriers, including China Southern, Air China, Dragonair, Korean Air and Eva Air.

Housed within a 39-story building, Hilton Zhengzhou offers 448 guestrooms and suites that offer a range of modern amenities including work surfaces, in-room iPod docking stations, and wifi access.

Eight Elements all-day dining restaurant

In-house dining options include the Lobby Lounge; Yu Garden Chinese Restaurant for Cantonese, Sichuan and local Henan cuisines; all-day international dining from Eight Elements and Italian pizzas from Amici Restaurant. There is also Amici Bar.

The hotel’s recreational options include an indoor swimming pool, fitness centre, table tennis room, and a spa.

Finally, there is over 2,000sqm of meeting and event space supported by a conference service team, and a 24-hour business centre.

To commemorate the opening of Hilton Zhengzhou, HHonors members staying at the hotel will gain an extra 1,000 bonus points per night when paying the best available rate. The offer lasts until June 30.
