Marriott Hotels opens first property in Osaka

Marriott Hotels has opened the Marriott Miyako Hotel, its first property in Osaka and fourth hotel in Japan.

The hotelier co-owns the property with local partner Miyako Hotels & Resorts, a subsidiary of the Kintetsu rail corporation. It is located in the Kintetsu-owned Abeno Harukas building, a 300m complex that debuted this March with 60 stories above ground and five stories underground.

Located in front of Osaka Abenobashi Station, Kansai International Airport is 30 minutes by train from the hotel.

Guestroom

The hotel’s 360 guestrooms are located on levels 38 to 55 of the building and boast sweeping city views of Osaka. The Osaka Marriott Miyako is also home to an executive floor and dedicated executive lounge with 10m high ceilings that offers light refreshments and snacks throughout the day.

Bathroom

The hotel additionally features several meeting facilities, including a large meeting room at 230 sqm, along with six smaller meeting rooms at 32 sqm. All rooms are wifi enabled.

ZK restaurant

Dining options include the lobby lounge and bar on the 19th floor, along with the open kitchen buffet restaurant, Cooka, which offers Japanese and international dishes. Occupying the entire 57th floor, fine dining restaurant ZK serves authentic Japanese cuisine, including Teppanyaki, and Western dishes in a grand setting.
