Air Berlin has extended its codeshare agreement with Etihad Airways to include flights to India, it was announced today.
Passengers can now book daily connections via Abu Dhabi to Bangalore, Chennai, Hyderabad, Kochi, Mumbai and New Delhi with the German carrier, whose 'AB' flight code will be added to the routes.
On October 26, there will be an additional seven service between Berlin and Abu Dhabi, taking the number of codeshare destinations with Etihad via Abu Dhabi to 43.
These destinations will include Beijing, Shanghai, Tokyo Narita, Kuala Lumpur, Jakarta, Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane.
Air Berlin is also planning to include Perth and Seoul as destinations in its codeshare network with Etihad, it said.
