Carlson Rezidor will launch two new global hotel brands next year.
Radisson Red has been developed as a "lifestyle select" brand with a focus on technology, while Quorvus Collection will group together luxury five-star properties.
Both brands will be rolled out in 2015 across "urban centres" in the Americas, Europe, Middle East and Africa.
Radisson Red properties will include a mobile app that allows guests to check-in, place orders for food or taxis, manage their guest preferences and in-room environment.
Each luxury Quorvus hotel will be reflective of its location and culture.
Trudy Rautio, Carlson Rezidor's president and CEO, said: "Radisson Red and Quorvus Collection are inspired by Vision 20/20, an evolution of our Ambition 2015 growth strategy.
"Vision 20/20 aspires to elevate the guest experience with innovations in technology, guest service and beyond. These two brand concepts will illustrate that perfectly.
"This is a distinct opportunity for Carlson Rezidor to introduce new experiences, as well as exciting and relevant services, that uniquely differentiate our brands. Quorvus Collection and Radisson Red are the first manifestations of that vision."
Carlson Rezidor, whose brands include Radisson Blu, Radisson Park Plaza and Park Inn by Radisson, aims to have more than 60 Radisson Red and 20 Quorvus Collection hotels by 2020.
In December, Carlson Rezidor announced the opening of two hotels, one Park Inn by Radisson and the other a Radisson Blu, in Saudi Arabia (see news, December 6).
