SAA to fly A330-200 to Heathrow

19 Feb 2014 by GrahamSmith

South African Airways will deploy an Airbus A330-200 on its London Heathrow to Johannesburg route from March 28.

The A330-200 will replace the A340-600 that currently serves flight SA234, the first of SAA's two daily departures to LHR.

Business customers will enjoy smaller, more personal cabins and a 74-inch seat pitch and 12-inch screens, the airline said.

Gary Kershaw, SAA's UK general manager, said: "We've listened to feedback from our corporate customers and Voyager members around the aspects of their journey that are important to them.

"We're delighted to announce these changes to our summer schedule to strengthen our growing reputation for quality."
