Finnair is upping its Helsinki to London Heathrow service from four to five flights daily.
From March 30, the airline will add flights AY995 and AY996 to its schedule. They will be operated by a new Airbus A321.
Outbound service AY995 will depart Helsinki at 1630 and land at Heathrow three hours later at 1730 local time.
Return flight AY996 will take-off from Heathrow at 1835 and arrive in Helsinki at 0035 local time.
Finnair's Gregory Kaldahl said: "London is one of the great global cities and always in demand, and we are very pleased to be able to add more capacity to the thriving Helsinki-London route.
"This fills out our current scheduling very nicely, improving connectivity to London while adding more flight options for those travelling across the Atlantic as well.
"The new frequency also enhances the ability of firms to conduct business in London or Helsinki and make return journeys in a single day."
Last month, Finnair began installing fully-flat business class seating across its long-haul fleet (see news, December 6).
