Intercontinental Hotels Group has opened a Crowne Plaza property near New York's JFK airport.
The 330-room Crowne Plaza JFK Airport New York City has undergone a multi-million dollar renovation and now features an interior design with runway murals on the lobby ceilings and a glass exterior facade.
Located on 138-10 135th Avenue, the nine-storey hotel is the seventh Crowne Plaza property in the New York City area.
It features 465 sqm of meeting space, including ten meeting rooms and a ballroom, a 24-hour lobby market, complimentary wifi, free parking, extended dining and bar service hours, a fitness center, and a zen room for yoga and meditation.
Gina LaBarre, IHG's vice president, Americas Brand Management, Upscale Brands, said: "We're pleased to grow the Crowne Plaza brand in such a convenient location for business travellers.
"We know our guests need to be productive when they're on the road for work, and our hotels offer the service and amenities that enable them to be successful."
Last month, IHG opened the first Crowne Plaza hotel in Serbia (see news, January 28).
