Easyjet is cancelling its London Gatwick to Amman service in May.
The carrier will stop operating the thrice-weekly route, its sole Jordan service, on May 5.
It launched the route three years ago (see news, March 2011) and was thought to have the potential to open up a new budget market between northern Europe and the Middle East.
Earlier this month, it emerged that Easyjet will axe its Southend to Edinburgh route in June (see news, January 7), while last month the airline announced that it is to expand capacity by a third at Rome's Fiumicino airport (see news, December 13).
