Air Blue cancels its Manchester route

20 Jan 2014 by GrahamSmith

Pakistani carrier Air Blue is cancelling its Islamabad to Manchester route.

The privately-owned airline will stop operating the three-times weekly A340-300 service from January 22 due to "route rationalisation", reports airlineroute.net.

Air Blue had launched the direct route between the two cities as a four-times weekly service in November 2012 (see news, October 2012).

Beforehand, it flew a one-stop service that refuelled at Istanbul.
