Dutch hotel brand Citizen M has opened a new hotel in Rotterdam.
Located close to Blaak Station in Rotterdam's old port, Citizen M Hotel Rotterdam's 151 rooms are all identical with wall-to-wall beds and rain showers.
Tablet "mood pads" allow guests to operate the lights, blinds, choose a TV programme or free movie to watch, adjust the temperature settings or set an alarm from wherever they are in the room.
The hotel offers 24-hour self-check-in and check-out, free-to-use iMacs in the lobbies, free wifi throughout, a cocktail bar, and a selection of food and drink options available 24-hours in Canteen M.
Reservations are only available online and payment is only accepted by credit card.
Citizen M recently partnered with Artyzen Hospitality Group to extend the hotel brand across Asia. Planned hotels include Hong Kong, Tapei, Shanghai, Beijing, Singapore and Jakarta.
