Priority Pass adds 12 lounges to network

13 Dec 2013 by GrahamSmith

Priority Pass has added 12 lounges to its network in China, the Philippines, Singapore, South Africa, Sweden and the United Arab Emirates.

These include two lounges in the new international terminal in Shenzhen-Baoan International Airport — Domestic Guest Lounge is in the southwest wing on level four, while the International Guest Lounge is in the southeast wing on level three.

Two lounges run by Menzies Aviation have also joined the network. The Umphafa Lounge in Terminal 1 of Durban-King Shaka International Airport can be found after immigration on the third floor and is in keeping with Menzie's trademark African style, while Apple iMacs are available for use.

The Mashonzha Lounge in Terminal A of Johannesburg-Tambo International Airport continues the African theme serving authentic foods and beverages.

Other new lounges available to Priority Pass members include the Marhaba Lounge in Terminal 2 of Dubai International Airport and the Dnata Lounge in Terminal 3 of Singapore-Changi Airport.

The Marhaba is airside, opposite gates F2 and F3 and serves a buffet-style Arabic and continental menu, while the Dnata is in the Departure Transit Hall on the mezzanine level and offers full airside views, WiFi and business centre workstations.

Last month, Priority Pass partnered with Hilton HHonors allowing HHonors points to be redeemed against Priority Pass subscriptions (see news, November 21).
