Virgin Atlantic's Little Red subsidiary will be doubling its complimentary baggage allowance from December 26 until February 2.
The promotion will run on flights between London Heathrow and Aberdeen, Edinburgh or Manchester.
It means passengers can check in two 23kg bags each plus additional sports luggage free of charge. Virgin Atlantic Gold cardholders will be permitted three bags at 23kg during the sale period.
Little Red will also be providing sale fares during the same period, with return flights from LHR to Aberdeen from £99 and return services from Heathrow to Edinburgh and Manchester from £88 and £89.
The sale fares are now available to book until January 6.
Last month, it emerged that Little Red will from next summer axe one of four daily flights on its London to Manchester route (see news, November 19).
