Jetstar Asia celebrates Year of the Horse with competition

13 Dec 2013 by Clement Huang

To welcome the Year of the Horse, Jetstar Asia has launched a competition for children in Singapore to design the airline’s limited edition boarding pass.

The competition will be split into three different age categories – children under six years old, aged between seven and 11, as well as younsters of 12 to 15 years old.

The winner from each category will win a Jetstar travel voucher worth SG$288, while the grand prize winner will walk away with a travel voucher worth an auspicious SG$888 (the number "eight" rhymes with "fortune" in Chinese), and have his or her design printed on the back of the Lunar New Year 2014 commemorative Jetstar boarding pass.

Submitted designs will be judged by their creativity, and how they bring out the spirit of Lunar New Year in the Lion City. In addition, all entries must also incorporate the low-cost carrier’s signature orange colour.

The limited edition passes will be issued to passengers travelling out of Singapore Changi between January 31 and February 14. Furthermore, customers will be able to keep the main portion of the boarding pass that features the design as they pass through the boarding gate.

Entry forms can be downloaded at www.jetstar.com/sg/en/arttakesflight, and can be submitted either by mail or at the drop-off point indicated on the form. The closing date for submission is on January 3.
