Marriott International will open its third hotel in Washington, DC in May.
The Washington Marriott Marquis will be adjacent to the Washington Convention Centre and guests will be able to walk between the two via an underground concourse.

The 15-storey, 1175-room hotel will feature 49 suites, more than 9000 sqm of events space, a 2787 sqm Marquis Ballroom and a health club.
All guest rooms have individual climate control settings, electrical adaptors, a mini fridge and personalised voicemail.
There will be a full-service business centre with 83 meeting rooms, 54 breakout rooms and outdoor terraces offering views over the Penn Quarter neighbourhood and the City Centre.
The property is scheduled to open on May 1.
Last month, Marriott announced plans to open a Moxy Hotel at London Heathrow in 2015 (see news, November 27).
