London's Balthazar restaurant has unveiled a private dining room in the run-up to Christmas.
Located on the first floor of the popular Covent Garden eatery, it has its own entrance on Wellington Street and can host 60 guests for dining or 75 for a reception.
The space features antique timber flooring, art deco detailing, deep red leather banquettes and a lounge area with a pewter-topped bar.
Menus start at £45 for three courses, coffee and petits fours and feature "French brasserie classics" and bistro dishes.
An offshoot of Keith McNally's original Balthazar restaurant in New York's Soho, the French eatery opened in February this year and is open from 0730 to midnight (from 0900 on Saturdays, and from 0900 until 2300 on Sundays).
