Air France will be offering a new service to Tokyo-Haneda airport from March 30, 2014. These two new daily operations – one in the day and another at night – along with an existing daily service to Tokyo-Narita, will boast the carrier's number of Tokyo-bound flights to three daily.
Air France will be the only airline to offer night flights between Paris-Charles de Gaulle and Haneda, thereby making it easier for the passengers to sleep through the flight and arrive at their destination rested. It also provides them with a wider range of flight schedules to better organise their trip.
Tokyo-Haneda is significantly closer to the city centre, compared to Tokyo-Narita. Moreover, the airport also facilitates connections with the Japanese domestic network, making transfers easier to passengers.
The day flight to Tokyo-Haneda will be operated by the Boeing 777-200, with a capacity of 309 seats. It features a three-class configuration, with 35 in business class, 24 in premium economy, and 250 in economy. The night flight will be operated by the Boeing 777-300 with a four-class configuration. It will offer eight seats in first, 67 in business, 24 in premium economy and 200 in economy.
