Air France to add Tokyo Haneda route

11 Dec 2013 by GrahamSmith

Air France will launch a new service to Tokyo Haneda at the end of March.

The twice-daily route will run in conjunction with the airline's existing daily service to Tokyo Narita airport.

The carrier currently operates a Japan Airlines codeshare flight from Paris to Haneda and another to Narita.

From March 30, Air France will also operate one day flight and one night flight from Paris Charles de Gaulle to Haneda.

The airline will deploy a B777-200 with 309 seats - 35 in business, 24 in premium economy and 250 in economy - on the day flight.

Flight AF272 will leave Paris CDG at 1055 and arrive at Tokyo Haneda at 0600 the following day. Return flight AF279 will depart Haneda at 0735 and land in Paris at 1315.

The night service will be operated by a B777-300 with 303 seats - eight in La Premiere (first), 67 in business, 24 in premium economy and 200 in economy.

Outward flight AF274 will depart Paris at 2230 and arrive at Haneda at 1840 the following day, while return service AD293 will leave Haneda at 2215 and land in Paris at 0355 the next day.

Less than two weeks ago, Air France confirmed that its three times a week Paris CDG to Wuhan link would remain (see news, December 2).
