Celebrity chef Heston Blumenthal will open a restaurant at Heathrow's new Terminal 2 in June.
The eatery, which will be 443 sqm in size, will be located immediately after security when passengers enter the terminal's departure lounge.
The menu "will feature some of Britain's favourite meals inspired by his In Search Of Perfection television series". Further details are being kept under wraps.
Blumenthal said: "This is an incredible project. There are so many different elements to consider when people are travelling. We want to deliver a broad spectrum of easy to enjoy, familiar dishes from fish and chips to pizza.
"When we made the In Search Of Perfection series we spent hours researching the temperature of a pizza oven or the crunch of batter; it’s this inspiration that is behind the menu at Heathrow – with some truly British eccentricity thrown in for good measure."
Blumenthal's restaurant will be one of 67 outlets in the new T2, including shops, bars and restaurants.
Terminal 2 will be officially named in honour of Queen Elizabeth II when it opens next year (see news, June 17).
The £2.5 billion facility, which is scheduled to open its doors on June 4, will be called Terminal 2: The Queen's Terminal.
The monarch opened the original Terminal 2 in 1955, almost 60 years ago and two years after her coronation.
