Thailand-based hospitality group Dusit International has opened a new property in Abu Dhabi.
The Dusit Thani Abu Dhabi is housed in a prominent glass tower in a very central location in the new business and government district, and close to the Eastern Mangroves nature attraction.
The hotel blends a distinct Arabic look with subtle touches of the group’s Thai heritage. The property includes 131 serviced apartments, as well as 402 guestrooms and suites. The Royal Suite – the largest among them – measures 450 sqm. It boasts a dedicated reception hall, living area, separate dining room and private spa.
Deluxe king room
There are five dining options, including: Thai restaurant Benjarong, contemporary bistro Capital Grill, international buffet outlets Urban Kitchen and The Ochid Bar and Lounge, as well as the brand’s signature Dusit Gourmet Deli and Bakery.
The hotel also offers a health club with a steam room, sauna, outdoor pool and sundeck. The conference centre, meanwhile, is the core of the hotel’s event venues and can seat up to 2,000 guests.
Dusit has been looking to widen its footprint, with the group recently announcing a new joint venture in China to spearhead its expansion there (see here).
