Plaza Premium Lounge has offered a sneak peak into its new flagship venue at Hong Kong International Airport.

The new pay-in facility is scheduled to open its doors in November. Occupying 1,393 sqm in the West Hall, the venue will be the largest commercial airport lounge in Asia.

It features an interior by Hong Kong-based designer Kinney Chan, and showcases custom-made furniture, innovative design and interactive services. The large size of the lounge allows each area to be uniquely different from the other. This ensures choice and a different experience every time travellers visit the facility.

Seating area

Plaza Premium Lounge will offer a highly localised menu featuring many Hong Kong favourites. These will include Hong Kong-style milk tea, pineapple bun and butter, Chinese rice cakes and egg tarts.

Bar area

Culinary choice will not only be limited to local food. There will also be an in-lounge bakery, salad bar, coffee and tea station, noodle bar (serving the company’s signature Hong Kong-style fish ball noodles, amongst others), tapas bar and slow-cooked meats.

Food stations

The lounge also offers shower facilities, high-speed wifi, workstations, recharging stations, and printing and photocopying services. A VIP room and an exclusive lounge area can also be made available for guests who wish to conduct a meeting or even an conference while on the road.

VIP seating area

Media tours of the new facility will be commencing soon. Business Traveller Asia-Pacific will be covering the opening, so stay tuned for another report.

This is the latest in a series of developments by the pay-in lounge company, which recently unveiled plans for its upcoming facility at London Heathrow Terminal 2 (see here)
