Starwood's Aloft brand opened its 75th hotel last week with its first property in Panama.
Aloft Panama, which is the fourth Aloft hotel in Latin America, welcomed its first guests on Friday.
The brand debuted in 2008 and is now operating in 14 countries and is scheduled to arrive in ten more by 2016. It has 55 properties in the US alone with a further 20 in the pipeline.
And Aloft has another 17 hotel openings due to take place by the end of the year, with a further 19 by the end of 2014.
Brian McGuinness, senior vice president of Specialty Select Brands for Starwood, said: "From the start, Aloft has been an industry game-changer that has turned the specialty select category on its head.
"With its design-led focus, accessible new technologies and buzzing social scene, Aloft delivers exactly what the next generation traveler wants now.
"The fact that we can deliver this all at an affordable price point, in more and more markets each year, has helped fuel the brand’s worldwide growth."
Asia Pacific remains the brand's second fastest growing market with 12 hotels currently open.
In the next 12 months, Aloft Hotels will add three more properties to its China portfolio with openings slated for Dalian, Yancheng and Guangzhou, and another two hotels in India with openings in Bengaluru and New Delhi.
