Garuda Indonesia will be increasing flights from Singapore to Bali and Surabaya starting next month.
Indonesia’s national carrier currently operates a daily service on the Singapore and Bali route, and a four times weekly service from Singapore to Surabaya. Starting on 27 October, Garuda will increase the former to double daily and the latter to daily.
"Indonesia is an important regional business and leisure hub and passenger traffic to the country continues to grow. There is a lot of potential to connect Singapore with more Indonesian destinations and it is a natural step for Garuda as the national flag carrier to meet this strong demand,” said Nicodemus Lampe, the airline's vice president, Area Asia.
The new flights will be served by the Boeing 737-800NG, which features a two-class configuration with 12 seats in business class and 144 seats in economy.
