A twice-weekly service between London Luton and Iasi, Romania is launching next month.

Romanian carrier Tarom will operate a 134 seat Boeing 737-300 in a two-class configuration on the route, which begins on October 29.

The outbound flight leaves Iasi at 2130 and arrives in Luton at 2255 local time on Tuesdays and Saturdays.

The return service leaves Luton at 2345 and arrives in Iasi at 0505 local time.

Glyn Jones, London Luton's managing director, added: "We are delighted that Tarom will shortly commence services. With convenient flight times, quality onboard service and competitive fares we are sure the Iasi flights with Tarom will be a great success."

Tarom joined the Skyteam alliance in 2010 (see news, February 2010).
