Hampton by Hilton has opened its first hotel in Russia.
The 148-room Hampton by Hilton Voronezh, which is the brand's 21st property in Europe, is located in the business district of the south-west Russian city.
Standing at 12 storeys high, its facilities include a gym and a meeting room that can hold up to 30 people.
Hilton Worldwide's Phil Cordell said: "The opening of our first Hampton by Hilton in Russia is an important milestone for our brand as Hampton continues its rapid international expansion.
"We pride ourselves on the quality of our product and the strength of our 'Hamptonality' service culture, to the extent that we offer a 100 per cent Hampton Guarantee, meaning that if a guest is not totally satisfied with their stay we don't expect them to pay."
The city itself is divided into two parts by the Voronezh River and boasts a number of parks and monuments, the most famous of which are of Pushkin and Peter the Great.
Hilton Worldwide currently operates five hotels in Russia across four brands — Hilton Moscow Leningradskaya, DoubleTree by Hilton Novosibirsk, Hilton Garden Inn Perm, Hilton Garden Inn Krasnodar and Hampton by Hilton Voronezh.
Hampton to Hilton plans to open two more properties in Russia before the end of the year — Hampton by Hilton Vologograd Profsoyunaya and Hampton by Hilton Samara.
The brand opened its first hotel in Romania, Hampton by Hilton Cluj-Napoca, in June (see news, June 11).
