BA to increase flights to Orlando and Kingston

27 Aug 2013 by GrahamSmith

British Airways is increasing its Gatwick services to destinations including Orlando, Kingston and St Lucia from summer 2014.

The carrier will add another Boeing 777-200 to its LGW fleet next year.

As a result, BA will up its number of flights to Orlando from ten times weekly to 13, while its St Lucia service will increase from six weekly to daily.

Punta Cana, Antigua and Kingston will all benefit from an additional flight per week, meaning they will be served three, six and four times weekly respectively.

Peter Simpson, BA's director of Gatwick, said: "From next year our customers will be able to fly more often to many of our most popular destinations.

"Adding an extra Boeing 777 to our Gatwick fleet has enabled us to enhance our fantastic flying schedule by increasing flights to our top leisure destinations, giving our customers even more choice."

Earlier this month, BA announced it will adding an additional flight to its London Heathrow to Mexico City service from October (see news, August 16).
