Qatar Airways has announced that it will be extending its Boeing 787 Dreamliner network to India, by flying from Doha to New Delhi and Bangalore starting September 1.
The B787 aircraft has a two-class configuration with 22 seats in business class, and 232 in economy. Business class features a 1-2-1 layout, while economy seats are arranged 3-3-3.

Qatar Airways has taken delivery of eight of its 60 Dreamliners on order, and operates the aircraft to Dubai, Munich, Stockholm, Riyadh, Jeddah, Zurich, Frankfurt and London Heathrow (see here). The 787 service will also be extended to Oslo and Copenhagen from September.
Qatar currently offers 95 non-stop flights each week from 12 Indian gateway cities to Doha. These include daily services from Mumbai, Ahmedabad, Amritsar, Goa, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Kozhikode, Trivandrum, Chennai and Bangalore, together with 11 flights a week from Cochin and double daily flights from Delhi.
