British Airways is reducing its London Heathrow to Seoul Incheon service from six times per week to five over three 16/17-day periods in the next few months.
The carrier will also be cancelling the service on certain dates during the Christmas and New Year period.
The planned service reduction takes place from October 28 to November 14, January 6 to January 22, and March 3 to March 19.
During the October/November period, the service will not fly on Tuedays and Wednesdays from LHR and on Wednesdays and Thursdays from Seoul. In the January and March periods, the LHR departures will not be operated on Mondays and Tuesdays, and on Tuesdays and Wednesdays from Seoul.
A spokesman for the airline said: "Our schedules are under constant review and we sometimes adapt them for commercial or operational reasons to best suit the needs of our customers."
Last week, BA operated its first passenger service aboard its B787 Dreamliner as a reward for frequent fliers in Scotland (see online news, August 8).
