Marriott International has opened The OCT Harbour, Shenzhen Marriott Executive Apartments, its first extended-stay property in Southern China.
Located at the OCT Harbour (also called OCT Bay, or "Huan Le Hai An"), the 27,000sqm apartment property offers 155 units encompassing studios, one-, two- and three-bedroom suites. In each suite, the bedroom is deliberately designed with a separate colour palette from that of the living room and office area, which are in contemporary style. Every room is different but they are all based on the same colour scheme to provide a warm feel. Each unit comes with a fully equipped kitchen. The property also provides foreign exchange, limousine and grocery shopping services.

There are many facilities available for guests to use, such as the Resident Lounge, 24-hour gym, outdoor pool, kids’ pool and children’s playroom, and valet dry-cleaning is among the range of services on offer.

The OCT Bay is one of Shenzhen's newest entertainment districts, located in the Shenzhen Bay area, with a large expatriate population. There is a waterfront shopping complex, multi-media water show theatre, high-end cultural and commercial exhibition centre as well as Dream Aquarium, a marine theme park; Myrules World, a role-playing amusement centre; and China Film International Movie Club, China Film Group's largest flagship store.
