Hyatt Times Square New York has started accepting guest reservations for January 1, 2014 and later. Manhattan's largest Hyatt hotel in more than 30 years is located at 135 West 45th Street and slated for an October 2013 opening.
The 54-storey Hyatt Times Square comprises of 11 rooms per floor, and offers 440 guest rooms and 47 suites. Rooms start at US$299 per night, and feature floor-to-ceiling windows along with original art with neutral, light-toned fabrics and wood. In addition, deluxe suites have particularly large bathrooms with a deep soaking tub adjacent to a rain-head shower. Guests occupying the presidential suite are also afforded a private terrace with a view of the Manhattan skyline.
The hotel's location between the 6th Avenue business district and the Broadway 7th Avenue theatre district is a plus to those who like to be in the thick of action. It is a few minutes' walk away from such landmarks as Rockefeller Center and Radio City Music Hall, and within easy reach from Manhattan’s transportation hubs such as Port Authority Bus Terminal.
In terms of services and facilities, Hyatt Times Square features a 1,400 sq ft (130sqm) rooftop lounge that offers river-to-river views; a vintage-style diner offering American gourmet classics; a fitness centre; along with the only hotel spa within the area. There is also 2,400 sq ft (222sqm) of flexible meeting space.
