The Grand Hyatt Shenyang opened its doors today.
The hotel is the brand's first venture into northeast China, and is situated in Shenyang – the capital of Liaoning Province. A former Manchu capital, the city is a centre of trade and industry in modern China.
The property is located along Qingnian Street, in the commercial district, close Mix C luxury retail mall and numerous office buildings.
The 353-room hotel's interior blends elements of ancient Shenyang with the spirit of a modern city. The Sky Lobby is on the 25th floor, and affords 360-degree city views.
Guestrooms are on floors six to 23, and start at 42 sqm. The 34 suites, meanwhile, range from 84 to 252 sqm.
Each room is furnished with hardwood floors and artworks inspired by Shenyang's native rose. The bathroom features a full-size bathtub and rainforest shower, along with June Jacobs body products.
Room amenities include free high-speed broadband and wifi internet, and a 46-inch LED TV with cable channels.
Guests staying in the club rooms are allowed access to grand club facilities on the 23rd floor, which include free breakfasts and evening cocktails, along with express check-in and check-out, and use of the club meeting room.
The hotel features a total of eight dining options that serve a mix of international and local cuisine. All restaurants and bars are located on the top five floors of the hotel, offering expansive views of the city.
Grand Hyatt Shenyang also has more than 3,430 sqm of meeting and event spaces, along with 10 multi-purpose meeting and function rooms that range between 38 to 1,022 sqm. There's also a wellness centre on level five, which includes a fitness centre, indoor swimming pool and spa.
Grand Hyatt Shenyang is the latest addition to the brand following Grand Hyatt Kuala Lumpur's opening last year (see here).
