Crowne Plaza has announced the launch of a programme of activities designed to help business travellers to achieve peak physical and mental efficiency throughout their trips. The programme will run until July 29 at six Crowne Plaza hotels across Asia, Middle East and Africa, including the Crowne Plaza Today Gurgaon in India, properties in Changi Airport in Singapore, The Rosebank in Johannesburg, Abu Dhabi Yas Island in the The Business Park in Qatar, Canberra, Coogee Beach in Sydney and Newcastle in Australia.
The activities consist of three elements: "Morning Energiser", "Morning Warrior" and "Meet Aerobics". The first is targeted at travellers who cross time zones regularly, and includes an in-room guide about how to wake up to a productive and successful day. The second is an exercise regime to help invigorate business travellers with packed itineraries, and finally "Meet Aerobics" includes a series of simple chair exercises that help to relieve stress by increasing circulation to the bloodstream. These can be done subtlety during meetings or as a team time-out exercise.
