Korean Air launched its inaugural flight from Busan, Korea to Nanjing, China today with a new B737-800 aircraft.
The service was announced in February alongside other new routes to the US, Canada and Japan (see story here) and will be flown four times a week – on Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday. The service departs the Korean city at 1050 local time and arrives in China at 1150. The return leg leaves again at 1255 with a 1555 touch down in Korea, local time.
The aircraft consists of 12 business and 126 economy seats – nine less overall than in the other 147-seat B737-800 configuration. This allows for more space per passenger and larger overhead bins.
