Shenzhen Airlines has announced that it will begin a double daily service from Shenzhen to Bangkok from July 15 onwards.
The route will be operated by a B737-800 which is configured with eight business and 155 economy class seats.
The first flight departs Shenzhen at 1710 and reaches Bangkok at 1900 local time. The return leg leaves at 2015, arriving back in the Chinese city at 2350 local time. The second service on the same day takes off from Shenzhen at 2315 and lands in the Thai capital at 0100 local time. The return leg departs again at 0330 for a 0710 touch down in Shenzhen at local time.
The airline stated that the service was being introduced in order to provide greater convenience for business and leisure travellers in both destinations. This move follows news earlier this year of Hong Kong Airlines and Emirates launching third (see here) and fifth (see here) daily services to the city.
