Korean Air passengers entitled to free sauna service at Incheon

9 Jul 2013

Korean Air has announced that it will introduce the “KAL Premium Arrival Shower Service” on July 10, allowing international first and business class passengers arriving at Incheon airport the opportunity to enjoy the sauna, bath and shower services at the Hyatt Regency Incheon Hotel free of charge.

The service is only available on the date of arrival, and is not applicable to passengers on flights under three hours, including those from China, Taiwan and Japan.

"This service has been designed for business travelers who travel on the mid- to long-haul routes with our first and business classes and directly attend their business meetings upon their arrival at Incheon," Mi Hyun Kim from corporate communications at Korean Air said.

A free hotel shuttle will be provided at either gate 3A or 13B in arrival areas A and F of the first floor of the terminal. It takes about three minutes and operates every 20 minutes. Large baggage can be stored at the hotel’s concierge desk. Customers must then go to the fitness centre, Club Olympus, on the second floor, and present identification and a boarding pass in order to use the saunas and showers.

The centre has both dry and wet saunas, individual shower stalls and hot or cold bathtub facilities.

The hotel is currently under expansion, and will open its second building next year (see story here).
