Shangri-La Hotels is set to open its second property in Shenyang on August 1.
Located on Qingnian Avenue in the Shenhe District, the Shangri-La Hotel Shenyang will have 424 rooms starting from 42 sqm and offering free wifi and views of the city skyline.
Horizon Club rooms are on the top five levels of the building, with the Horizon Club lounge located on the 30th floor.
Other facilities include a top-floor Japanese restaurant and bar with a rooftop terrace, a Chinese eatery, an all-day diner, a spa with nine treatment rooms, a rooftop tennis court and a 25-metre indoor pool.
The hotel will also have more than 4,000 sqm of meeting space across two floors, including a 1,900 sqm pillarless grand ballroom with a 600 sqm pre-function area, a 566 sqm ballroom and seven function rooms, one with a rooftop garden.
The Shangri-La group already has a Traders hotel in the city.
