Edition Hotels is opening its first property in London this autumn.
The London Edition - formerly the Berners Hotel, which was established in 1908 - is located in Fitzrovia.
The Grade II-listed, Georgian-era hotel features 173 wood-panelled rooms, a dance club, two bars and a 24-hour gym.
A restaurant, Berner's Tavern, will be overseen by celebrity chef Jason Atherton.
Edition Hotels is a joint venture between Marriott and Ian Schrager with a portfolio that includes one property in Istanbul and forthcoming hotels in New York, Miami, Los Angeles, Bangkok, Abu Dhabi and Gurgaon.
Schrager said: "The definition of luxury has changed - we'd rather be known for service than anything else."
Previously operated by JJW Hotels and Resorts, Berners Hotel has been closed since 2006 and went into administration in 2010. Marriott International then acquired the property and has spent the last two years renovating it.
