Qatar Airways has increased services between Doha and Paris to triple daily – in the morning, afternoon and evening – bringing total weekly scheduled flights between the two cities from 18 to 21.
The additional service is operated by an Airbus A340 aircraft in a three-class configuration, with eight first, 42 business and 256 economy class seats.
“[This] reflects the importance we pay to one of the world’s top destinations offering French travellers and those from around the world with greater travel options," said chief executive officer Akbar Al Baker.
“We recognise that time savings are top of travellers’ minds when planning their journeys, which is why Qatar Airways is committed to always studying our route map and expanding to every corner of the globe, while at the same time adding frequencies on many of our existing routes," he added.
The fast-growing carrier flies to 128 destinations across Europe, the Middle East, Africa, Asia and North and South America.
Within the year, its network will expand to include Sulaymaniyah, Iraq (August 20), Chengdu (September 3), Addis Ababa (September 18) and Clark International Airport (October 28).
