The hotel will be situated in Dongdaemun, an established commercial and business district in downtown Seoul. Next to the hotel site is Dongdaemun Design Plaza & Park, currently under development, set to open in March 2014. It will include a multi-use park, a fashion plaza, an underground mall and more.
Hyatt Place Seoul will consist of 204 guestrooms, a range of meeting facilities, a fitness centre, a restaurant and bar.
