Customers of budget carrier Flybe can now guarantee ticket prices on the airline's website for up to 24 hours.
The "Price Lock-Down" service allows passengers to pay a fee to freeze any quoted fare at flybe.com for a day.
For a minimum of £5 per booking, or £1.99 per person if more than that amount, customers can hold a booking and later confirm the passenger names when completing the booking process.
After 24 hours, the price lock-down is automatically cancelled at no extra charge.
The service is only available provided the departure date is at least two weeks away.
