French hotel group Accor has opened two more boutique premises in Milan.
The Grand Visconti Palace Hotel and Uptown Palace Hotel are part of Accor's prestigious M Gallery hotel range.
They join a third M Gallery hotel, the Grand Hotel Villa Torretta, in Milan. The total number of M Gallery properties in Italy now stands at 12.
Spokesperson Christophe Alaux said: “All M Gallery hotels share the same spirit, but they each have their own distinctive personalities and stories, which guests experience and enjoy during their stay."
Features at the Grand Visconti Palace Hotel include a sauna, Turkish baths, Jacuzzi, fitness center and 120 square metre indoor swimming pool overlooking a park. The hotel has 172 rooms and suites
The Uptown Palace Hotel, which has 158 rooms and suites, is described by Accor as an "urban chic skyscraper" and offers a 360 degree view of Milan.
Last year, the group rebranded the Mercure Bath Francis Hotel following a £6 million refurbishment (see news, April 2012).
The property was renamed the Francis Hotel and joined the St Ermin's Hotel in London under the M Gallery brand.
