Hilton has rebranded the former La Mola Hotel and Conference Centre close to Barcelona under its Doubletree brand.
The 186-room property is located 17 miles north of the Catalonian capital, within the Sant Llorenc del Munt i l'Obac Nature Park, and close to the Greg Norman-designed Royal Golf Club El Prat.
The hotel features free wifi, an 800 sqm spa with heated indoor pool, steam room, sauna and seasonal outdoor pool, as well as fine dining L'Obac d'Artur Martínez restaurant.
The conference centre offers 26 meetings rooms holding up to 250 guests, including two auditoriums and a video conference room, as well as an adjacent 17th century manor complete with chapel for weddings and events.
The hotel is the second Doubletree property in Spain, joining the recently opened Doubletree by Hilton Hotel and Spa Emporda on the Costa Brava close to Girona. Hilton currently operates eight hotels across Spanish cities including Barcelona, Madrid, Seville, Toledo and Palma de Mallorca.
