The Grand Hyatt Beijing at Oriental Plaza has unveiled its newly remodelled Grand Premium rooms.
The 234 Grand Premium rooms, transformed from old guestrooms, have elegant all-white bedding and bed headboard, and complementing bathrooms furnished with sleek new mirrors and soft lighting. It also features new carpets, wallpaper, fixtures and furnishings.
Meanwhile, there is an enhanced lighting system, high-tech conveniences such as an iPod docking station and an extended work space fitted with outlets where you can plug in USB cables and a variety of devices, as well as free wifi internet access in the rooms.
The unveiling of the Grand Premium rooms is the first phase of the hotel’s remodelling plan. Over the next three years, Grand Hyatt Beijing will transform the remaining 591 guestrooms while the lobby, restaurants and lounge will remain unchanged.
The 825-room property is part of the Oriental Plaza – China’s largest commercial complex – and is located at the crossroads in Beijing’s diplomatic and business district between Chang An Avenue and Wangfujing.
This is part of a brand-wide initiative to refresh its look, with the Grand Hyatt Erawan Bangkok debuting a fresh new look last year (see here) and the Grand Hyatt Hong Kong's refurbishment due to be completed next year (see here).
