Marriott will open its first Courtyard property in Colombia’s capital Bogota next year, located within a mixed use complex on Avenida El Dorado.
The 146-room hotel will feature a swimming pool and sauna, lobby bar, casual dining restaurant and flexible meeting space.
Scheduled to open in April 2014, the property will join two existing Marriott hotels in Bogota: the JW Marriott Bogota and the Bogota Marriott Hotel. Two further Marriott properties are currently under development in the Colombian cities of Cartagena and Cali, with both hotels due to open next year.
Last year Starwood Hotels announced plans for the W Bogota, located in the city’s Usaquen district and currently scheduled to open in June 2014 (see online news July 24, 2012).
